Snow! Our area in Surrey was covered by thick snow last night. Very cold, but it is actually nice to see snow again despite the chaos it creates for our transport system. Well, obviously we were locked inside this weekend, so I was flipping through Maison & Travaux for some inspiration. I thought this old farm house in Savoy would be a perfect read on a winter day like today. This pretty farm house was first built back in 1756, but recently it was neglected for a while. New owners had a grand mission – to restore it to its old glory! And they’ve done a great job, I can see. Inside old beams were preserved and a open plan living area is now decorated with charming rustic home accessories. It looks almost like heaven! And more than anything, the highlight of this house is spectacular mountains in the background. Looks like a perfect retreat for ski lovers too. Beautiful.
